Either way, they obviate costly tapping and simplify design. In non-metallic applications, Snap-in T-Nut fasteners are usually driven into holes. They may provide threads and add strength to relatively weak materials. Some Snap-in T-Nut fasteners for non-metallic applications may be fed and applied automatically.
