1-Ear Clamps with Inserts are ideal for demanding hose or tube clamping applications, such as rubber or synthetic materials. They feature the same ear with the "dimple" as a standard 1-Ear Clamp, providing increased grip strength and a spring-like "breathing" action with no loosening. The added insert has an oval outward dimple which is positioned precisely under the clamp ear, effectively preventing material from being lifted into the ear gap during clamp closure. This double dimple combination between the insert and clamp creates a particularly strong all-around effective compression seal.
