These 1-Ear Clamps have a Mechanical Interlock which, in many applications, is superior to any other joint. Spot-welding techniques are not used and therefore the possibility of failure due to corrosion at the spot weld is eliminated. All 1-EAR CLAMPS feature the ear with the "dimple", the simple design difference that not only adds increased strength to the grip of the clamp, but also creates a spring-like action allowing the clamp to "breathe" without loosening. 1-Ear Clamps are used in places where clamping a second ear is impractical, or where a quick, repeatable and compact assembly is important in conjunction with a small clamping range. The version featured on this page has an anti-corrosive electro-zinc coating.
