A new generation of fasteners, the Taptite 2000®, provides the benefits of previous Taptite® fasteners with an innovative new thread design - the Radius Profile® thread. The Taptite 2000® maintains the low thread forming torque of Taptite II® fasteners, and maintains or increases the high failure torque and other structural characteristics attained with Duo-Taptite®. They provide the end-user enhanced opportunities to reduce overall costs of assembly.
