Oetiker® 1-Ear Stainless Steel Clamps with Mechanical Interlock
Crimp Style Clamps
These Oetiker® 1-Ear Clamps have a Mechanical Interlock which is superior to any other joint. Spot welding techniques are not used and therefore the possibility of failure due to corrosion at the spot weld is eliminated. All 1-EAR CLAMPS feature the ear with the "dimple", the simple design difference that not only adds increased strength to the grip of the clamp, but also creates a spring-like action allowing the clamp to "breathe" without loosening. 1-Ear Clamps are used in places where clamping a second ear is impractical, or where a quick, repeatable and compact assembly is important in conjunction with a small clamping range. The lightweight, 7.00 mm version featured on this page is made of austenitic stainless steel for extra strength and anti-corrosive properties. The chemical composition and mechanical properties provide an exceptional combination of ductility and toughness.
